Why we built it
In senior living, the maintenance line is not just about a leaky faucet. The caller may be 70 to 95 years old, hard of hearing, and phone-first — and a medical emergency can arrive on a “maintenance” call. Most maintenance software was built for industrial teams and retrofitted to communities: it asks a resident to type a request into an app or a portal. For the people who need it most, that is a wall, not a front door.
We started from the resident’s side of the phone. What if the line simply answered, listened patiently, handled the everyday request without a single tap — and, above all, never mishandled the call that turned out to be an emergency? That is CallFelix.
What we’re building
A new category: the senior-living voice line — resident-facing maintenance intake by phone today, with text and photo joining the same number next, and deterministic life-safety escalation built into the architecture. Not a chatbot bolted onto a form. The phone is the product.
